Integro announces eRecords Bridge™ for Outlook
Software solution enables comprehensive email records management for Microsoft Outlook clients
Denver, Colorado – May 22, 2006 – Integro announced today the upcoming release of its eRecords Bridge for Outlook. The software facilitates email records management for companies running Microsoft Outlook, and integrates with IBM CommonStore for Exchange, IBM Content Manager, and IBM Records Manager. Jointly with IBM, Integro will demonstrate its new eRecords Bridge for Outlook for the first time to the public at the MER (Managing Electronic Records) Conference in Chicago this week, May 22-24, 2006.
The eRecords Bridge for Outlook joins Integro’s growing portfolio of email management products, including eRecords Bridge for Domino and the Integro CommonStore Accelerator. Significant customer demand and the success of the company’s eRecords Bridge for Domino prompted the development of the new eRecords Bridge for Outlook. “Many of our clients have IBM products on the back-end, but use Microsoft Outlook as their email client,” said Doug Magnuson, Vice President of Products and Offerings at Integro. “Offering a product that provides end user-focused records-enablement of Outlook is needed in the market and we intend to fulfill that need.”
Like its successful sister product, eRecords Bridge for Outlook operates in the existing email system, and allows for records-enablement of email at the mailbox level. Rather than simply retaining and storing every email that comes through the system, the product uses a unique zone management approach that helps users apply business value to memos and distinguish official records from less essential emails. With this approach, emails are routinely disposed of, helping to reduce storage costs and improve system performance.
