Denver, CO - June 8, 2006 - The Colorado Software and Internet Association held its 2006 Apex Awards last night at the University of Denver's Center for Performing Arts. Integro's President and CEO, Scott Burt, was honored with the Technology Advocate of the Year award. This award is presented to the individual who has been a strong champion for the development, research or application of technology in Colorado; making strong achievements and commitments to furthering innovative use of technology in Colorado; and helping support CSIA's mission.
Mr. Burt was chosen for his contribution to Colorado's technology community as well as his philanthropic pursuits. In addition to co-founding Integro, he also helped create the Denver chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness, which has raised over $250,000 since it's inception.
