Employee causes

Integro strongly encourages and promotes community giving by employees. Many of our employees are intimately involved in causes important to them, from helping the homeless to working with animals. Integro matches employee donations to organizations they support, and we’re proud to have supported a long list of organizations over the years, including organizations that fight hunger, working to find a cure for cancer, providing educational opportunities to youth, and much more.

Integro builds website for Climbing Blind Tibet expedition

Integro was a proud sponsor of “Climbing Blind: Tibet Expedition” in 2004. Climbing Blind was created by Erik Weihenmayer, the first blind person to summit Mt. Everest. On the expedition, he lead a group of blind Tibetan teenagers to the summit of a 23,100 foot peak on the north side of Mt. Everest. Climbing Blind, a non-profit organization, was created to overcome the misconceptions of the blind and to not place limitations on people with disabilities. Integro sponsored the expedition by developing 2 critical technology components – an interactive website and an easy-to-use web content management tool. The web site, had interactive elements to highlight each aspect of the expedition including an online forum for communication between the climbers and those who joined the online community.Integro supports the Climbing Blind expedition
