Scott Burt, president of Integro, was recently appointed National Trustee to the Foundation Fighting Blindness. He is one of only 100 National Trustees and the only Trustee in Colorado.
Scott has passionately worked with the Foundation Fighting Blindness since learning that his son, Austin, has retinitis pigmentosa (RP). RP is a retinal degenerative disease that causes progressive loss of peripheral and night vision and is the leading cause of blindness in youth and young adults. There is currently no cure for RP; however, great strides in research are being made to cure blindness by the FFB and their scientists. The Foundation Fighting Blindness is the leading institution outside the US Government to drive research to save and restore sight for millions of people like Austin.
Scott Chairs the Colorado chapter of volunteers and leads the effort with other dedicated volunteers to raise money to find a cure. As a co-founder of the hugely successful Microsoft Swing for Sight Golf

Tournament, Scott's efforts have helped raise over $200,000 over the past three years and the event continues to grow in stature and donations.
