What is Capture?

Capture is the process of ingesting, analyzing, and taking action on information that may flow into an organization as paper, email, email attachments, faxes, or numerous other formats. The goal is to automatically identify all key values and populate systems and trigger workflows. For example, invoices received as email attachments or paper in the mail can be auto-populated with vendor name, invoice number, due date, line item detail, and more with little to now human involvement.
